Our process

  • We work by appointment only. Go to our “Book an Appointment” page so that we can get in touch with you and discuss the work you need done on your car. Depending on your situation, I might be able to skip a diagnosis and send you an estimate immediately. In other cases, I might need to see your car first and do a diagnosis to be able to accurately quote you on the work needed. The diagnostics fee is $90 per hour. But of course, if it’s a quicker diagnosis, that fee will be adjusted accordingly.

  • As mentioned above, sometimes a quote/estimate can be given based merely on a description of the issue or perhaps for routine maintenance services. For more complex or uncertain cases, I’ll have to diagnose the problem first, to be able to give an accurate quote/estimate on the work needed.

    I’ll always send you an estimate before beginning any work. It’s a detailed list of the parts needed, services required, and the tentative total price of the job. You can choose to accept it or discuss any changes you want at this point.

    Once you approve the estimate, I will go ahead and order the parts for your service. Based on the arrival time for those parts (if neccesary), I can discuss with you the next step in the process - arranging a time for you to drop off your car.

  • Since this is our private residence, at this point in time, we unfortunately can’t provide a waiting room! Please organize your own transport to be able to leave your car with us. We will discuss ahead of time how long the work on your car will potentially take and keep you updated on the progress so you can anticipate any changes to your proposed pickup time. Cars are unpredictable, so we will try our best to stick with the time frame given before drop-off, but please understand that there might be some discrepancies. Communication and transparency remain key in this part of the process so you’ll be informed along the way.

  • When the work is done, we’ll contact you with the final invoice and arrange a pick-up time. You will be asked to pay the final invoice upon collection of your car. We have a card machine, so you can choose from a variety of payment options.
